Since 1992, the Walpole Computer Foundation has raised over $698,000 in support of technology for the Walpole Public Schools. To guarantee the most effective use of these funds across the entire school district, the WCF has established a formal grant process for directing funds to the highest priority technology projects.

There are many examples of highly successful projects that have been funded completely or partially through WCF technology grants. It is our firm belief that at least some of these vitally important technology resources would not exist within the Walpole Public Schools without the WCF grants that have been awarded over the past 15 years.

The Walpole Computer Foundation (WCF) is pleased to announce that 17 of the 27 proposals submitted have been approved for funding as part of the 2007 grant session. The total to be distributed is $64,774, out of over $130,000 in requests. We were unable to fund all proposals, despite the quality of the requests and presentations from you, the sponsors. Still, this year we were able to fund 63% of requests, bringing the total funds awarded by the WCF since its inception to over $690,000.
